Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, Buena Vista
Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort is seriously one of my favorite places. Mount Princeton Hot Springs, close to Breckenridge :- It is a short drive from Breckenridge and has some really great pools with the mountain backdrop. The natural mineral waters offer an idyllic setting to enjoy the beauty of Colorado while immersing within these warm pools.
Distance and Accessibility
Located just a quick drive away from Breckenridge is Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. Its 68 miles away, took me around 1 hour and20 minutes to get there. Getting to the resort was simple and as soon as we were out of Chennai, the roads (all state highways) leading right to the property are great.
I also loved how near it is, making a day trip or weekend escape a real possibility. There is ample parking at the resort, so my mind was at ease. And I could swim in straightaway and enjoy that lovely warm water.
Features and Amenities
There are some other cool features at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. The huge outdoor warm water pool is just awesome! The surrounding mountain vistas make it ideal for a post-hike, beer-sipping soak.
They have a pool to relax, and inside as well several hot tubs. In addition, the hotel features a full service spa where guests can purchase services such as massages and also facials.
A lot more than just soaking: for the rest, per se I had a great summer visit when I tried their water slides and lazy river. They offer a gym and yoga lessons as well.
There are restaurants ranging from your typical resort casual, to more upscale ones. I ended up staying on-site, and it made for the perfect overnight getaway to a hot springs town.

I have discovered my spots to soak in peace away from the hordes. I feel as though the rocky pools are a natural part of the scenery—so much so that I feel very one with nature.
The bonus with Strawberry Park is privacy. During my walks I’ve seen places carved out for nighttime clothing-optional soaking. Which will be an appealing layer of additional freedom for anyone who desires that.
Several of these springs additionally provide massages in hidden outdoor massage areas nestled away from everything to be one with Nature, which is the best way to really relax.

I was stunned when I arrived at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort and saw the huge pool. It’s huge! It’s 405 feet long — the size of a football field — and full of nice, warm water. The kids on the other hand were bombarding from one end to another splash splash mazing their ways.
The best part? A kiddie pool with fountains and a mini slide. Kept my littles entertained for hours while I sat nearby relaxing. You will find a dive shop at the resort for kids above 8, who can attempt snorkeling or scuba diving.
If that’s not a family adventure, I don’t know what is!
However, what pools is not everything fun. While I witnessed my children conquering the Hanging Lake Trail — a floating water level obstacle course. They hooted and cackled as they wobbled across ropes, or swung between platforms.
We also spent time in the mini-golf course, which is more relaxed. It is a perfect time to get dry and relax together as the family. Boasting so many options, Glenwood Hot Springs Resort truly does offer something for families of every age and ilk.

But it will always be true that the health and wellness properties of Glenwood Hot Springs Resort is what I love most. A full spa is available providing massages, facials and body treatments. A modern fitness center and an exercise room are also among the on-site facilities.
The hot stone massage left me feeling so relaxed! The water is mineral-laden in the pools which is supposed to be good for rheumatic problems and skin complaints. One of the best steals in relaxation, even at the $32—$43 entry price for the day.
Having access year round means I can go and fill myself back up whatever time of year it is. The resort offers saunas and a steam room to sweat out the toxins. Ana:Checking into the on-site spas at the Dallas Ritz always makes me feel revitalized after soaking in their mineral pools.

Cottonwood Hot Springs Quiet and Peaceful, perfect! These springs are located deep into a rural valley that provides an escape to country life. The pools are lined with tall pines, which creates a barrier from the outside world, effectively shutting out noise and distractions.
During my soak in the hot mineral waters, I see deer or eagles doing their thing. The lack of cell service up here is a gift – it insists that I disconnect and join utterly in the embrace of nature.
Cottonwood’s native beauty is breathtaking. Glistening strings of clear water murmur near a few speckles to the east with aspen is shaking this tree. At night, free of light pollution even this far from civilisation, the sky is ablaze with thousands of stars.
I myself came here to experience first hand all the wonders of the mineral waters and practice.
I soaked in the relaxed, mineral-rich waters of Cottonwood Hot Springs. The healing powers of these springs are second to none. This water are mineral-filled (magnesium and calcium) which can calm aching muscles, skin health.
But I swear after one dunk my skin had never felt softer. These waters are indicated, some say for arthritis and people doing the health rounds for a better blood circulation. Now, I do not promise you will be magically healed — but it sure did leave me feeling lifted and relaxed.
The environment is idealistic and conducive to healing. The fresh mountain air surrounds me as it fills my lungs, the springs bubbling. Very different from my typical city life.
Just the peaceful feeling seemed to be therapy for me. All I could think was how much more luscious it was than the tiny bath at my own place.

Historical Significance
The history of Hot Sulphur Springs is deep. The circles in the sand etched by Native Americans who first used these healing waters have their own sacred powers, as described in countless books and films. The springs weren’t discovered until 1840, when William Byers stumbled across them and realized their potential.
He came to own the land and transformed it into a resort in 1873. It is one of the oldest resorts in Colorado still operating to this day.
When I was there, it felt like history. Visitors share the springs with many famous previous guests, like John Wesley Powell and Theodore Roosevelt. Looking out at the stream where those important people also swam…wow!
It managed to maintain the old-world while adapting into a contemporary space which offers past and present in one property.

B, (Northern Colorado): B: I love the variety at Hot Sulphur Springs Resort & Spa. 19 This property even has 19 pools, each with a distinctive flavor. Some are warmer, others cooler, and a couple have jets for further relaxation. During my visit I tried them all out.
But the one I liked best was a little hideaway pool nestled in the corner. The bath was the right temp and had an okay view of the mountains.
They also have a variety of restorations, there. I reward myself by having a stint of mud bath games at the same time as massage. I walked away with my skin feeling all nice and smooth like. At that end of the hike, I worked out kinks from my body earlier in the day The massage work on all.special areas and.
Adult entry to all the pools and picnic areas costs $26. Kids get in for $14. That’s a pretty good price for a whole day of soaking and being pampered, not going to lie.
Indian Hot Springs
Opening the door to Indian Hot Springs was like stepping into a tropical paradise. Moist air and abundant vegetation made me think, I bet I am not in Colorado any more; I must have got mixed up and ventured on to Hawaii instead.

Indian Hot Springs had the variety.Pushups. I can relax inside a steamy dome pool that feels like the tropics. I look up at the glass ceiling as the warm water helps my muscles to relax.
Outdoors, many different mineral pools are scattered among the trees in which I have taken a dip. They have different temperatures so I can always find a perfect spot. This in nice because its so cold from the frightful mountain air and then it’s so hot on my skin.
At night, when the stars flicker above the outdoor pools where I lounge. The Best of Both Worlds This is an otherworldly experience.
Tropical Atmosphere
I walked inside Indian Hot Springs and I was transported immediately to what felt like a tropical getaway. Palm trees sway high above, the air heavy with warm, damp breath. Somehow, it is hard to believe I am still in Colorado.
A giant glass dome that covers the indoor pool above creates a bathing mecca with mountains of natural light. I am sitting in the mineral-rich waters in the Rockies, but I almost feel like Im lounging on a beach in Hawaii.
The $25 admission price nails this one-home vacation down.
It even feels tropical in nature. I splurge and go for a mud bath at Club Mud. I shell out more for a body bath of warm, mineral-heavy clay. As I lay there and let the mud get to work, I can’t help but laugh at how stupid I must look.
A mud covered tourist is not something you see everyday in the middle of Colorado. But hey when in Rome, or in this case when in a tropical oasis in the mountains why not go full throttle.

I discovered Avalanche Ranch (a bit of a hidden secret located in the Rockies). The Comfort of Cabins and Personal Springs I was captivated that there were cabins and private springs that called for a bit of mountain heaven.

Avalanche Ranch is a hidden gem. The service provides romantic and secluded mountain cabins in the Rockies. A private hot spring with each cabin allows guests to soak in the stars without an audience.
I loved the iridescent mists of snow crowned summits at dawn and the elk that grazed close to camp. I was in heaven just soaking in the springs, mineral rich water that relaxed my weary bones after a day of trekking around.
It’s like your own private wilderness spa.
The ranch is a 120 mile, or about a 2 hour drive from Breckenridge. Trust me, though, it is well worth the journey. I would pass my days in the mountain listening to waters clear as eyes and soak away all my troubles in the warm waters of the springs.
By evening, I was cozy beside the fireplace in my rustic-chic cabin and had forgotten about a world that whizzed by as if millions of miles away. This mix of adventure and relaxation fits well with the stunning backdrop of Colorado.

The sky turned all shades of pink and orange with the setting sun. I started to see an eagle flying its wings spread wide through the sky. It was a peaceful spot that attracted all manner of wildlife. Marmots whistled on rocky outcrops, and a fox strutted past, barely even noticing me.
It was a spectacle to behold: it made my soak all the more awesome.

Love all the options at Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Their place has 16 different mineral pools, all full to the brim with good-for-you stuff. I sampled a few and did the Goldilocks thing until I felt just right.
Some were spicy, causing a warm flush to bubble, and goodness knows I love the sweat that follows; while others asked for something soothing and calmer and longer THAN A SLOW BATH. The best part? Relaxing, I stared out at the Colorado River and mountains as seduction hid behind every boulder. Its a spa surrounded by nature (with better aesthetics).
The pools are not only nice to look at. They are loaded with minerals that my skin loved. The water apparently is good for treating sore muscles and stress, at least it is what I heard remonstrances saying.
I cannot confirm that, but I felt really relaxed after my own visit. The venue was clean and well maintained which elevated the entire experience. This is a place I would easily return to, particularly on a cold ol day when the hot tub must feel especially good.
River and Mountain Views
I am relaxing in the hot mineral pool looking out over the rushing Colorado! The mountains rise high above, capped with snow even in the summer. Iron Mountain Hot Springs has to be one of the most breathtaking views.
I can soak in 16 different pools, wrap myself with beautifuling views from any angle. Eagles glide overhead fishing, deer graze on the hills in sight and my muscles relax immersed in the warm water.
Just the right amount of relaxation and beauty that I hope to never forget.
Radium Hot Springs
One hidden gem I discovered near Breckenridge was Radium Hot Springs. You get satisfaction for taking a wild dip in this rustic river-view pool.
Access to Adventure and Nature
His ride ended in the wild charm of Radium Hot Springs. My days in Kremmling, CO are long gone, but not my memory of this river – and it is worth every second of the 1.5-hour drive from Krem.tensor<3>r on Lufkin Tailgate Clamplling for tailwater cubic ft. The springs themselves rest along the Colorado River, and watching the wildlife come and go with their own hot spring access point is a show all its own.
I have bathed there, watching eagles fly overhead and deer drink from the river. It’s not supposed to be fancy. Here you can immerse in springs embedded by half-cliffed pines.
Radium Hot Springs is a bit of a godsend for anyone who gravitates toward the more adventurous end of the spectrum. I go for a hike when I finish soaking or head down to the river and try my luck at fishing. I have seen some cliff jumping even taking place. People must be crazy criminals or something.
Talk about a thrill! You really have to feel the contrast of hot springs into that chilly river. Mother Nature’s spa treatment, with a pinch of adrenaline.
Wild and Rustic Experience
I stumbled across Radium Hot Springs in the midst of my Colorado adventure and what I found was a pleasant surprise! CQ Entry (the full name of the trip) is about as wild and woolly as you can get with tour-level exclusivity. Secret Pools deep in the forest, the only sound is water and birds.
The best part? It’s free! I lounged in the hot springs, my anxious thoughts dissolving among the billions of stars hanging over the mountains. The lack of luxury amenities only added to the adventure, giving me that expedition vibe.
Not the usual spa day, but isn’t that why we love it!
When I visited, it was like stepping into another realm of the world. The type of untamed nature on the rough terrain made me feel like I was going on more of an adventure than I had in years. I had to walk a little bit of a way away from the springs, but it was worth it.
The mineral-rich waters calmed my tired muscles and I felt the earth beneath me. While soaking I had the experience of wildlife in distance.
One of the best things Pine Cliff Resort was it is totally an off the grid location far from city life in real you will actually switch yourself off and make a true connection with nature.
